At Allphin Veterinary Clinic, we are currently a 3-doctor practice, located in Branson West, MO. Our amazing support staff is composed of 9 veterinary technicians, two of which are registered. In addition to our vet techs, we have 5 client service representatives and 3 kennel technicians. At our practice, we truly believe that providing the best medicine to the pets in our area directly improves the lives of the people that live here.

Our hours are 8:00am – 5:30pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Friday and 8:30am- 6:30pm on Tuesday. The purpose of the Client Services Representative (CSR) is to serve as the receptionist for Allphin Veterinary Clinic. The primary responsibilities of the CSR are to be cheerful and accurate and to maintain a smooth, well-planned, and orderly flow of clients and patients. This includes record-keeping and clerical duties as well as providing support to the health care team. These service functions include but are not limited to reception (visitor and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, account maintenance, cash processing, and mail service. This position requires a practical/learned knowledge of hospital organization and services, the basic rules and regulations governing visitors and animal patient treatment, data transcription, word processing and practical knowledge of the standard procedures, veterinary records, and terminology used in the hospital.

The Veterinary Technician assists the doctors to the fullest possible extent to help improve the quality of care given to the patients, and to aid the doctors in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of technical work. The Veterinary Technician assists in multiple procedures providing care for animals including dental prophy, assisting in surgeries/surgical monitoring, administering medications, immunizations, running lab work, as well as client education. This is an overview of the position and the job responsibilities listed do not encompass the entire position. The veterinary technician is under the direct guidance and supervision of the Lead Veterinary Technician and the veterinarians.

The Kennel Technician provides care and the basic needs of animals that are being groomed, boarded or that are patients of Allphin Veterinary Clinic including cleaning of crates, runs and day care area, laundry, walking, proper feeding, medicating and care of all boarding/grooming guests. The kennel technician operates under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager.
